Why prevention matters

The challenges facing children are changing - and reaching them earlier than ever.

Children are navigating online risks, emotional pressures, relationships, personal safety and difficult choices from an increasingly young age. Waiting until harm occurs means waiting too long.

Life Ed Victoria works alongside schools and families to equip children with trusted, age-appropriate knowledge and practical skills - before they are faced with the moments in which they’ll need them most.

Cyber Safety
Before online risks become online harm.

Respectful Relationships
Before unhealthy attitudes and behaviours take hold.

Health & Wellbeing
Before children feel overwhelmed.

Sexual Health & Body Safety
Before children face situations they’re unprepared for.

Drugs & Alcohol
Before they’re faced with difficult choices.

That’s the power of prevention.
Giving children the knowledge and skills they need - before they need them.

Respect Starts Early

Respectful relationships are not built through one conversation in adolescence. Their foundations are formed much earlier.

Children are growing up surrounded by increasingly complex messages about relationships, gender, power and behaviour - both online and in everyday life.

Through trusted, age-appropriate education, Life Ed helps children develop emotional awareness, understand boundaries, show empathy, seek help and care for others.

At the 2026 Impact Lunch, we’ll explore why these foundations matter - and how preparing children early can contribute to safer, healthier and more respectful relationships throughout life.

What one conversation can make possible

At last year’s Impact Lunch, New Litho Group CEO Clinton Daley heard Life Ed Victoria Patron Paul Wheelton AM KSJ challenge business leaders to consider how they could make a difference within their own community.

That conversation led to New Litho Group partnering with Life Ed Victoria to print and deliver Student Learning Journals for approximately 35,000 children in 2026.

That’s the impact of bringing the right people together.
