"We are a small school in a regional area. Many of our families access additional support from community groups as well as additional support from outside agencies. This program is not something that a lot of our families would be able to afford if they had to pay for it, but topics covered are so important."

We are a high poverty low socio-economic school. Our families are unable to afford to pay for events like this and we have to be very careful how we spend our money, as we have a lot of students needing support in other ways. We would love to be included in this free oppotunity

"Our school's SFOE is high, representing a high level of socio-educational disadvantage for many of our families. The EAL population is around 65% of our school community. We feel like these two factors combined result in low social skills coming into our school, and a need for explicit, repeated teaching of social and emotional language, knowledge and skills. We feel this visit will reinforce the things we aim to teach our students in a fun and memorable way as another exposure to the important work of social and emotional learning."
